Glenn Laureano was critically injured in the crash on Route 6 near Pinnacle Road, police said. He was taken by helicopter to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Laureano was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The driver of the Dodge pickup truck was not injured. Police are still investigating the crash and ask witnesses to call Sgt. Paul Walzak at 860-675-2433.
